Important Notice: OffenderCHECK Text Alerts in School Check In

If your school currently uses OffenderCHECK alerts in School Check In (SCI), please be aware of the following update regarding alert delivery.

Due to major mobile carriers discontinuing support for email-to-text messaging methods used by SCI, Text message alerts are no longer supported in School Check In.

Schools will continue to receive email alerts for potential or confirmed sex offenders if an individual attempts to check in using School Check In. However, text message delivery from SCI is no longer available due to mobile carrier restrictions.

For customers who require alert notifications delivered by text message, Navigate360 Visitor Management (VM) supports security alerts sent via both email and text message, offering a more modern and reliable alerting experience.

Visitor Management also has an upcoming release scheduled for May 2026, which will include enhancements to Volunteer, Student, and Staff workflows, reporting improvements, and additional updates designed to support school operations and safety initiatives.
